A woodturned acorn shaped sewing kit. 

This has been hand turned by my other half (a talented woodturner) :0)

The acorn is made from beech and rosewood and is finished with a carnuba wax.

The base of the acorn acts both as a lid and pops on and off the acorn. With it's flat base, it can also be used as a stand for display purposes. 

Inside, the acorn is hollowed out and holds 2 spools of thread and a needle.

The overall size of the acorn is 5cm x 3cm.

Each one made is unique due to the individual markings of the wood used. The one you will receive is the one pictured above.

This will make an unusual and unique gift, which will be sure to become a talking point.
